TIGERSHARKS held a special presentation night earlier this month to celebrate their Swim 21 accreditation.
The Link Centre club were accredited to Teaching and Skill Development at the Swim 21 national panel meeting in November.
And they formally received the award from South West Regional Board chairman Sue Dors, and National Panel chairman David Flack at the event at Supermarine Rugby Club.
Head coach Lesley Leffers said: "Everyone at the club is very proud of achieving our Swim 21 accreditation. It means a lot to us all.
"We have all worked hard towards the accreditation and the wards evening was a fantastic way to commemorate this, especially for the club's treasurer Theresa Newcombe.
"Theresa has worked really hard to make sure the club gained the accreditation and we want to thank her for all her hard work."
Tigersharks saw further success last year with Leffers accepted on to the Sportscoach UK Women's High Performance Coaching Programme.
The programme runs for three years and sees 15 coaches selected from different sports, aiming to help them grow as high performance coaches.
