WILTSHIRE lost their unbeaten record in Division 1D of the Inter County Championship after a disappointing 12-3 reverse at Gloucestershire on Sunday.
Gloucestershire boasted a much stronger team than the one that lost to Wiltshire in November, and included former England international Rebecca Pantaney, and number one man Tony Gibson.
Wiltshire's only successes were gained by Ben Caldwell, who beat Gibson in three sets at first men's singles, Justin Andrews and Anthony Bush, who won one men's doubles, and Sean Locke and Julie Russell who won at first mixed.
Wiltshire remain top of the 1D table, but must now take maximum points from their last two group matches against Devon and Avon to ensure victory in the section.
Wiltshire: Justin Andrews, Anthony Bush, Ben Caldwell,Sean Locke, Simon Woodhouse, Emma Davies, Veronique Manook, Heather McCune and Julie Russell.
