LAWN Netball Club recovered from their shock defeat against Hucclecote with a fine performance to beat Old Chelts 55-22 in Regional League One - despite resting two of their key players, Kerrie Easey and Jo Worrall.
The Swindon side opened the game strongly, taking an early 17-2 lead and totally dominating the match from the start.
However, the Cheltenham-based team managed to sneak a couple of late goals during the first quarter, finishing 17-5.
The Lawn defence stayed strong throughout the next period, only letting in four goals with a half-time score of 26-9.
Coach Mark Singer made a couple of half-time changes, which unsettled the Lawn rhythm and meant that they were only 35-16 ahead going into the final quarter.
However, with some fine shooting, they won the last period 20-6.
Singer said: "The aim for this game was to win but not to get injured.
"We have three games remaining and if we win all three, we earn the place in the play-offs for the Premier League.
"I don't mind if we win the next games by 20 goals or one, we just need to win.
"The girls are looking strong and fit and totally deserve their place at the top of the league.''
