THE second competition in the 2008 Knapp Farm dressage league saw great entries once more, resulting in an early start for some of the competitors in the walk and trot class.
With 27 competing for the top honours it was semi-retired Foxy Lady, a 32-year-old chestnut mare, who stole the show with rider Sophie Lawson.
Second place went to Jade Kirby with her pony Billy, in their first ever attempt at dressage.
The prelim classes were also busy, but this did not deter Freddie Plumb and his Dartmoor pony Harry winning both classes with over 70% in each.
Freddie, who is only 12, went on to come third in the novice section with a score of 69.6%. Winners of both the novice and elementary sections went to Rachel Evans and the warmblood gelding, Dillon, with Stuart Nie and his thoroughbred mare Cymraes coming second in both.
