BOXING: Walcot ABC's Marlon Reid travels to Liverpool hoping to continue the club's successful season by winning his Class B Novice Championship Quarter Final.
The Walcot middleweight encounters J Seddon of Transport ABC at the EvertonPark Sports Centre for a place in the semi-final.
His two wins this season have both been by knockout and chief coach Harry Scott has high hopes of victory.
He said: "Marlon won 10 bouts as a junior but then left the sport. He has recently returned to the ring after a nine-year break and is looking better than ever. He's fit and strong and we hope he'll do well."
The Class B Championship is entered by boxers who have had at least 10 contests but less than 20.
The 23-year-old Swindonian benefits from regular sparring with Commonwealth Games gold medalist Jamie Cox.
