BOXING: JAMIE Cox faced experienced Russian Dmitry Pavlyuchenkov for the second time in four days last night and the results was equally emphatic.
After "pinging him around the ring" at York Hall in the England versus Russia meeting on Friday, the Swindon southpaw, repeated the trick in Liverpool.
He was even more convincing in the light-welterweight rematch only his second bout since clinching gold at the Commonwealth Games improving on his 15-point winning margin in London to register a 29-10 drubbing which almost resulted in a stoppage.
Cox will now return to training at Walcot with his focus firmly on the European Championships in Hungary in July.
