Swindon's Steve Oliver was a two-stroke winner of Broome Manor's 30th anniversary medal with a round of one under par nett 70 playing off 12 handicap.
County player Miles Mackman (+1) who knocked round in 71, was one of four players on 72. The others were Paul Sandry (1), Clive Phillips (4) and K Regan (11).
Meanwhile, seven-handicap Robert Knopp won Marlborough's Ailesbury Arms Cup (handicaps 0-18) on a countback after a tie on nett 22 with Tony White (3). Nick Ballard (12) and Mick Blake (11) came next on 74.
Steve Richardson (21) won Marlborough's Nicholl Cup (19-28) with nett 81, one shot better than Trevor Lowe (20).
Roger Henry (9) won Marlborough seniors' Kerley Cup qualifier with nett 76, two ahead of Mike Bauer (16) and Terry Swain (13).
n Juniors took the first three places in Carswell's Thatcher Trophy.
Tony Lambourne (21) squeezed to a one-stroke victory over Eddie Campbell (8) with nett 69. Tom Dexter (11) was third with 71.
n Rory Moffat, playing off the maximum handicap of 28, recorded the best nett score of 10 under par 61 on the opening day of Ogbourne Downs' first Annual Cup qualifier.
It gave him a yawning 11-stroke winning margin in division three (19-28) over Greer McConnell (24).
Division 1 (0-12): Alan Bathe (12) nett 67, Mark McGinley (12) nett 69, Craig Keene (8) nett 69, Ben Kennett (9) nett 69; division 2 (13-18) Pete Flay (13) nett 69, David Parker (14) nett 70, Karl Little (16) nett 70. Johnie Williams had the best gross of 74.
Paul Moffatt (17) won the second day's qualifier with nett 70, one better than of Red Grove (16) and Keith Burke (12). Chris White's 74 was the best gross.
n North Wilts, who had won their first three matches in the Wiltshire League Division Three, maintained their 100 per cent record with a 21/2 11/2 home win over Hamptworth.
Brian Strang and Garry Slade lost one down; Roger Clack and Tim King won one up; Steve Hinton and Paul Stephenson halved; Gary Watts and Mark Sheppard won one up.
The Roy McNail Medal at North Wilts was won by 18-handicap P Horton with nett 75, one in front of T Lawson (13) and R Clack (5).
