ONCE again the racing fixture list has no flat race meetings scheduled for tomorrow - instead there are three jump meetings at Uttoxeter, Worcester and Plumpton.
With the weather set to be cold and damp, the National Hunt fraternity should feel at home at Worcester where their first race on the card starts at 2.20pm with a three-mile handicap hurdle that could go to Feel The Force.
At Uttoxeter, Barbury Castle trainer Alan King has recent winner Lidar entered in the opening race, the Betfred Novices’ Hurdle. Very well thought of at the King yard, the five-year-old could be the best bet of the day.
Champion jockey AP McCoy is down to ride Native Taipan in the National Hunt Novices’ Hurdle and could also be a good bet.
Former point-to-point jockey for Audrey Manners at Highworth, David Bass has been making a name for himself as conditional jockey for trainer Nicky Henderson and he could add another winner to his tally at Plumpton on board Marodima.
