Synchronised wins Gold Cup
NICKY Henderson's Long Run missed out on winning a second successive Gold Cup as it finished third behind Synchronised ridden by AP McCoy.
The race had been billed as a straight fight between Long Run and Kauto Star, but after Ruby Walsh pulled up Paul Nicholls' horse early on, Sam Waley-Cohen couldn't claim victory despite being part of the leading pack for the whole race.
