SWINDON'S Floyd Taylor has been chosen to play for England Under 13s in the Pee-Wee Hockey World Championships.
Swindon Pumas' Under 14 alternate captain Taylor has been picked to wear the A on his shirt for his country in the tournament which is currently taking place in Canada.
It is the second year that Floyd, pictured right, has been selected for the England Under 13s in the world junior event, and he will be following in his older brothers' footsteps and hoping to emulate them.
Loris, who plays for the Swindon Under 16 Leopards and the England Under 15 team, competed in the tournament two years ago.
While older brother Shannon, who is now playing for the Swindon Under 18 Cougars and with the Swindon Wildcats senior team, took part four years ago and had the unique honour of captaining England at under 13, 14, 15 and 16 levels.
Floyd flew out to Quebec City, in Canada, earlier in the week with the England team and his dad Steve, chairman of Swindon Junior Ice Hockey Club, to compete in the tournament.
Around 2,300 young hockey players from 16 countries will participate in the world championships, and the event attracts crowds of around 200,000 fans every year.
