Adam Bicknell scored a dramatic overtime winner for Bracknell Bees to break Swindon Wildcats hearts.
Wildcats were in control at 4-2 early in the final period but despite defending resolutely eventually succumbed to Bracknell's pressure, conceding two late goals to tie up the game and force sudden-death overtime.
Petkoff put Cats 4-2 after just 30 seconds of the final period, a lead which Swindon held until 56.57.
Lee Brathwaite was handed a harsh delay of game penalty and Bees successfully scored on the powerplay to make it 4-3 in Cats' favour.
Less than a minute later Lee Richardson was penalised for hooking despite not having a stick in his hand at the time and Bees took advantage to tie up the match, Bicknell on hand to net a rebound.
Into overtime, Petkoff had a shot saved by Gregg Rockman before Bicknell struck the killer blow at 64.43 and send Swindon home with just one point.
