SWINDON Panthers started the 2010 season with eight players moving on or taking timeout from ice hockey.
The new-look Panthers have brought in a few familiar names to Swindon hockey fans of old.
Alan Bishop, who played with the Wildcats in the early 1990s, has signed on, while Scott Gough, Lee Burden and Dave Lovejoy, who have all played in the English National League, have also joined the roster.
With three league games played, the Panthers sit at the top of the table with three wins and will look to solidify the position this weekend.
Panthers square up to Solihull Wolves in Coventry on Saturday, and on Sunday meet the Solent Scorpions, with face off at 5pm.
