SWINDON Wildcats have added another name to their 2010/11 English Premier League roster in the form of teenage wing Loris Taylor.
The 16-year-old played 53 out of a possible 57 games last term and scored his only goal of the campaign in February as Swindon drew 4-4 at Sheffield and then lost 2-1 on penalties.
He also contributed three assists to the cause and served just two penalty minutes, which was a club record for the lowest of the season.
Taylor was a first-year senior in the last campaign having come through the Wildcats Academy programme. He will turn 17 in August, not long before the start of the new season.
Swindon coach Ryan Aldridge is looking for commitment and determination from the prospect.
“It’s great to have Loris back,” said Aldridge.
“He is a young, skilled player who has not hit his true potential yet but I knows it’s going to take hard work to get him there.
“I want to have a team where players are fighting for spots to play and Loris will deserve a spot as long as his work rate is right, as his skills, skating and shot are second to none at his age.”
