FAIRFORD completed the double over Wootton Bassett 2nd with a comprehensive 28-0 victory at the Twin Rivers ground on Saturday.
The hosts outplayed Bassett from the kick-off, putting in one of their best displays of the season.
Mike Bowman got the proceedings underway with a clever chip ahead after 10 minutes, and as the ball bounced loose, centre Nick Keyser scored his first try for the club.
Soon after, a five-metre scrum produced quick ball for fly-half Botha, whose switch pass saw Sofa Bowman go under the posts.
Bassett conceded a penalty for offside minutes later and winger Stransky slotted the three points, before striking again almost immediately.
The half was ended with Little smashing his way over for a superb try that Stransky converted.
Bassett came out fighting in the second period and began to pressurise the home defence with some good rugby.
But Fairford held firm and number eight Billingsgate rounded off a fine performance with a simple pick up to score their fourth and final try.
