DORSET & Wiltshire ran riot in their first home fixture in the Tetley's County Plate, running in 10 tries in a 64-17 massacre of Hampshire at Bournemouth.
The team, featuring Swindon flanker Paul Daniels and Chippenham centre Karl Brant, as well as Devizes' Jamies Gaiger on the bench, turned on their finest performance for several seasons, London Irish fly-half Ben Stevenson dictating proceedings.
He kicked seven conversions as Salisbury winger Phil Carr touched down four times.
Bournemouth scrum-half Sam Hardcastle added a hat-trick of tries, with Army hooker Rob Bongard scoring a brace and Brant the other.
Hardcastle scored the first of his three tries after 15 minutes and although Stevenson missed the extras, he made no mistake when Brant scored from a searing break.
Bongard followed with his first, converted, but Hampshire replied through second row Alex Hayes, converted by Jon Wood.
Carr added another for the Twin Counties before Hampshire fly-half Andy Ashwin touched down before half-time to leave his side trailing 26-12.
Carr got the ball rolling after the break, with tries following at regular intervals.
