WHAT a difference seven days makes!
This time last week, there were people wanting my head, now it's all smiles.
What a result it was at Eastbourne last Saturday!
People can say that they were a weak side but they had not lost a match at home up to then so you have to give credit to Swindon Speedway.
That, plus Thursday's win over Oxford, has given us the chance to kick on now.
I'll probably shoot myself in the foot, but I can't see why we cannot get five points from our two meetings against Coventry next week.
Their track is one our guys, like Leigh Adams, Seba Ulamek and Lee Richardson, go well on.
And the riders have such a positive attitude this season. Look at Adrian Miekzinski against Oxford.
The meeting was won by heat 14, but he still went out like it was do-or-die.
That's a big change from last year.
It's the European Grand Prix tonight and I think Leigh Adams could be on course for his first win of the season.
He was unlucky in the last GP, but he's really happy with everything this year and is confident.
Lee Richardson can also put his troubles behind him.
Alun Rossiter - Tale of the Tapes He's not back 100 per cent yet, but he's getting there.
We'll have the GP on the big screen in my pub tonight (the New Inn at Stratton), an ideal time for people to come in, watch the action and have a chat. I'm always happy to talk to people and answer any questions.
It's nice when people who don't usually go to speedway say that they've seen me or the team in the paper or on the radio.
It means they are interested and hopefully we're doing the right things.
