Tale of the Tapes A SPEEDWAY rider's work is never done!
I've had the week off, but I've hardly been sitting around resting up. There is so much to do!
My motor home, which has been away travelling all around Europe arrived back home this week and that needed cleaning out and all the bits and pieces fixed which kept me busy.
I've also been up to the gym at Blunsdon House Hotel, which the Robins riders are now using, a few times.
It's nice up there and I enjoy it.
I'm not really into the gym stuff I tended just to jump on my mountain bike but it's a good facility to have available.
Spending some time at home with the family has been awesome.
I've missed the last two weeks in Sweden and that really gives me the chance to rest.
I'll be doing the next four over there but, fingers crossed, the new arrangement I have means I'll be able to carry on for another couple of years in Sweden.
That said, it's back to it next week with seven days in a row, although five of them are in England which is not too bad.
Not much has been happening as far as the Robins go, with Thursday's meeting against Reading being called off because of a waterlogged track.
That wasn't a huge blow for us because it would have been tough without Sebastian Ulamek and Adrian Miedzinski.
Looking at the table, we're fourth or fifth at the moment and I don't think that we are riding to our full potential yet.
We travel to Oxford on Wednesday and that's one we have to be winning.
Not many teams will go there and lose and we cannot afford to.
