JORDAN Frampton powered into the British final after coming through his rain-affected semi at Sheffield’s Owlerton Stadium on Thursday night.
The Swindon doubling-up rider took three wins from three races to finish joint top on nine points with the in-form Ipswich man Scott Nicholls.
The meeting was abandoned after 12 heats due to rain but the result stands with seven riders making it through, with one still to be named.
Those who have definitely qualified for the final at Wolverhampton on June 14 are Frampton, Nicholls, Olly Allen, James Wright, Andrew Tully, Ben Barker and Stuart Robson.
Simon Stead will join his teammate Frampton if he finishes in the top eight in the other semi, due to be held at King’s Lynn on Wednesday.
