Adams and Jonasson are out first but Andersen slips past the Swede on the inside of bend two. Wright overtakes at the end of lap three.

Heat 2: Jonasson, Lanham, Grajczonek, Frampton, 66.90 (6-6)

Jonasson flies out and is gone. Frampton initially overtakes Grajczonek at the start of lap two but then gets overhauled on the line.

Heat 3 (re-run): Risager, Hougaard, Korneliussen, Kroner, 67.02 (10-8)

Korneliussen falls at the first bend and it's all four back. Risager gets round the outside of the Aces pair come the end of lap one. Korneliussen is past Kroner soon after.

Heat 4: Stead, Karlsson, Jonasson, Lanham, 66.58 (14-10)

Stead gates. Karlsson edges past Jonasson early on.

Heat 5: Korneliussen, Risager, Wright, Andersen, 65.90 (19-11)

Round the outside comes Korneliussen and Risager battles into second at the start. Superb riding.

Heat 6: Adams, Jonasson, Karlsson, Grajczonek, 66.90 (24-12)

From the gate.

Heat 7: Stead, Hougaard (tac), Kroner, Frampton, 67.33 (27-17)

Stead was outgated by Kroner but nipped past on the inside of bend two.

Heat 8: Wright, Lanham, Risager, Jonasson (rtd), 67.24 (28-22)

The Aces duo are never threatened. Jonasson packed up on the final lap.

Heat 9 (re-run): Karlsson, Korneliussen, Risager, Grajczonek, 67.05 (31-25)

Korneliussen gets in a tight spot at the first bend and goes down, with Grajczonek piling into the back of him next to the air fence. Both are up and okay. Re-run is from the gate.

Heat 10 (re-run): Adams, Jonasson, Hougaard, Lanham, 66.73 (36-26)

Lanham slides wide and crashes into Jonasson. The Swede is up pretty quickly. Adams gates on the restart and Jonasson rides brilliantly to hold off Hougaard and Lanham, doing well to stay on the bike after lifting on the back straight of lap three.

Heat 11: Frampton, Andersen, Stead, Wright, 67.46 (40-28)

Frampton stuns the Abbey with a sensational ride to take the win just ahead of Andersen. The Aces skipper had earlier passed Stead on lap three.

Heat 12: Jonasson, Lanham, Risager, Hougaard, 67.30 (44-30)

Jonasson gates. Risager past Hougaard early on.

Heat 13: Stead, Andersen, Adams, Karlsson (tac), 67.12 (48-32)

From the gate, and it's game over. Another top-class ride from Stead.

Heat 14 (re-run): Korneliussen, Lanham, Frampton, Kroner, 67.36 (52-34)

Kroner bails at the first bend but for some reason it's all four back. Frampton gates but Korneliussen gets past out of bend two. Lanham overhauls Frampton on the back straight of lap two.

Heat 15: Stead, Adams, Andersen, Karlsson, 67.58 (57-35)

Stead gates with Adams just behind him. Another terrific ride from the Sheffield-born racer.
