Reserve – Darryl Ritchings (0).
Heat one: Fisher, Harris, Richardson, Shields, 69.68.
Fisher from the gate. Good battle between Harris and Richardson.
Heat two: N. Pedersen, B. Pedersen, Batchelor, Klindt, 69.49.
Gate one is a winner so far. Nicki Pedersen flies out and triumphs easily.
Heat three: Gjedde, Morris, Ulamek, Stead, 69.43
You guessed it, gate one again. From the gate.
Heat four: Andersen, Zagar, Kildemand, Korneliussen, 69.71
Zagar is all over Andersen on the last lap. Zagar passed Kildemand on the exit of bend two.
Heat five: Kildemand, Fisher, N. Pedersen, Stead, 69.15
It's still all about gate one. The races are getting closer, though.
Heat six: B. Pedersen, Zagar, Gjedde, Richardson, 68.46.
Finally, a win NOT off gate one. Zagar has had two top rides and still hasn't won a race yet.
Heat seven: Andersen, Shields, Morris, Batchelor (R), 69.90.
Morris nearly grinds to a halt on the final bend when leading, eventually finishing third. Batchelor pulled out in lap two.
Heat eight: Harris, Korneliussen, Klindt, Ulamek, 68.55.
From the gate.
Heat nine: B. Pedersen, Fisher, Korneliussen, Ritchings (frem), 70.21.
Morris excluded for failing to make the start line in time, so reserve Ritchings takes his place. The youngster falls at the first bend but remounts. Fisher pips Korneliussen on the line.
Heat 10: Ulamek, Richardson, N. Pedersen, Andersen.
Ulamek wins off gate one.
Heat 11: Zagar, Klindt, Stead, Shields, 69.77
Zagar triumphs again at Blunsdon. He deserved that for his display so far.
Heat 12: Batchelor, Harris, Gjedde, Kildemand (R), 70.34.
Simple win for Batchelor. Harris snuck up the inside of Gjedde on bend two lap two.
Heat 13: Zagar, Batchelor, Fisher, Ulamek, 69.34.
Batchelor gates but Zagar rips around the boards on bends one and two and leaves the Aussie in the dust.
Heat 14: Richardson, Kildemand, Morris, Klindt, 70.43.
Kildemand pushes Richardson all the way. Less than a bike-length between them at the finish.
Heat 15: N. Pedersen, Korneliussen, Gjedde, Shields, 70.52.
Korneliussen gave it a good go against Pedersen, who kept giving him room out wide.
Heat 16: Stead, Andersen, B. Pedersen, Harris (FX), 71.44.
It's the slowest win of the night but Stead won't care. The drizzle is coming down in earnest now.
Heat 17 (re-run, unsatisfactory start): Andersen, Gjedde, Fisher, Klindt, 71.96.
Gjedde threatened Andersen early on.
Heat 18 (re-run): Stead, Richardson, Korneliussen (R), Batchelor (FX), 71.15.
Batchelor gives it too much power at the start line and comes off the back of his machine. He's quickly up on his feet but is excluded. Stead takes the re-run at a canter. Korneliussen pulls out.
Heat 19: Shields, B. Pedersen, Kildemand, Ulamek, 70.83.
Shields' only win of the night won't be enough to get him into the semis. The rain seems to have stopped now.
Heat 20: N. Pedersen, Harris, Morris, Zagar.
Nicki Pedersen cruises into the final. Harris beats Morris in the final inches.
First semi-final: Andersen, Zagar, Harris, Gjedde, 69.33.
Andersen gates off the inside and has a wobble on bend one but stays up. Zagar is comfortable in second and seems content not to push Andersen too hard.
Second semi-final: B. Pedersen, N. Pedersen, Fisher, Richardson, 69.80.
Nicki Pedersen runs wide at bend one and Bjarne Pedersen is able to power past him on the inside. Fisher has a look at Nicki Pedersen early on but that's all it is.
Final: B. Pedersen, Andersen, Zagar, N. Pedersen (R), 69.74
Bjarne Pedersen just gets to the first bend ahead of Hans Andersen. The Swindon man pushes his rival all the way but Bjarne Pedersen holds out. Nicki Pedersen packs up with bike problems midway through.
