HEAT DETAILS

Heat 1: Pedersen, Morris, Smolinski, Batchelor. (4-2)58.6.

Morris makes a good start but Bjarne comes storming through on the second bend to take a simple win. Not even a threat of any overtaking. Batchelor a disapointing last.

Heat 2: Auty, Kildemand, Aspegren, Mills 3-3 (7-5)59.1

Great work from Peter Kildemand who battles from last to second on the first lap and pushes leader Josh Auty all the way. Robin Aspegren and Chris Mills battle away at the back, with the Robins man taking it on the line.

Heat 3: King, Stead, Barker, Alden. 4-2 (11-7) 59.3

Great gate from Stead but King comes roaring around the first corner to take the heat. The Robins has to spend the remainder of the heat holding off Ben Barker, which he does.

Heat 4: Kildemand, Ulamek, Auty, Andersen. 3-3 14-10, 58.5

Superb start from Kildemand who is looking very fast tonight, and the Dane pulls away to take an easy win. Andersen struggles to fight his way past Ulamek and Auty, and eventually packs up at the back.

Heat 5: Batchelor, Morris, King, Barker. 59.4 5-1, 15-15. 59.4.

Much better for the Robins as Batchelor and Morris lead from the tapes to claim the first 5-1 of the evening.

Heat 6: Smolinski, Andersen, Aspegren, Pedersen. 3-3 (18-18) 60.0

Hans makes the get but Smolinski comes storming round in the first turn to lead until the flag. Aspegren holds off Pedersen at the back to earn the 3-3.

Heat 7: Ulamek, Stead, Alden, Mills. 3-3 (21-21) 60.4

All four called back after an unsatisfactory start, but in the re-run Ulamek leads straight from the tapes to the flag to take three points. Simon Stead and Seb Alden tuck in in second and third for a 3-3.

Heat 8: Morris, Kildemand, Smolinski, Auty. 1-5, (21-26) 60.5.

Superb heat as Robins take a 5-1. Kildemand makes a lightning start, but is passed by partner Morris in turn one. The Dane drops to third, but battles back passed Smolinski to secure the maximum.

Heat 9: Andersen, King, Barker, Aspegren. 3-3 (25-29) 59.5

Aspegren is almost forced into the fence in turn one, but Andersen takes advantage of his partner’s misfortune to cruise through and take the win.

Heat 10: Kildemand, Smolinski, Pedersen, Stead FX. 3-3 (28-32). 59.9

Kildemand is in as a substitute for Alden, and proves Rossiter’s decision to be correct as he stroms round to take the three points. Stead suffers a heavy fall at the back but walks off the track and seems ok.

Heat 11: Ulamek, Batchelor, Morris, Mills. 3-3 (31-35) 60.7

Ulamek wins it from the tapes, but Batchelor is forced to keep it tight to stave off Mills. The Brummies’ reserve eventually falls away, and is superbly passed by Morris to make it a 3-3.

Heat 12: King, Kildemand, Stead, Auty. 3-3 (34-38) 60.7

King and Kildemand have a great battle for the lead, and although the Brummies skipper eventually wins it, the Robins pair finish close behind to make it a 3-3. Auty goes down at the back.

Heat 13: Andersen, Batchelor, Pedersen, Ulamek. 5-1 (35-43) 60.9

Superb 5-1 for the Robins, with Andersen and Batchelor outclassing the Brummies pair. Hans misses the start but storms under the pack on turn two to take the win.

Heat 14: Kildemand, Alden, Auty, Barker. 5-1 (36-48) 61.

Kildemand again show’s just why he is rated so highly at Blunsdon, as he storms out of turn two on lap one to claim the win. Alden does well to follow him home in second as the Robins win the meeting.

Heat 15: Andersen, Batchelor, Ulamek, King. 5-1 (53-37) 61.3.

King touches the tapes and goes off 15-metres in the re-run, and Andersen and Batchelor take advantage to comfortably claim a 5-1 which adds the finishing touches to an excellent evening’s work.
