SWINDON'S Knockout Cup quarter-final first leg at Peterborough on Friday has been postponed due to problems arising from the recent wet weather.

The East of England Showground landlords have reported that their stadium car parks are flooded following torrential rain over the past week.

This has left the condition of the grounds in a very sodden state which has given cause for concern to the health and safety of people who would be parking there.

With the lack of alternative parking available, the Showground landlords have taken the decision to postpone the meeting.

A new date for the fixture has yet to be announced.
