SWINDON Town travel to Southern League Premier South side Salisbury on Tuesday evening in the semi-final of the Wiltshire Premier Shield.
Westbury United await the winner after they beat Melksham Town 3-2 earlier in the month, with the final to be played at the County Ground, regardless of whether Swindon feature or not.
In the quarter finals, a Tomi Adeloye brace and an Oscar Massey goal guided the Robins to a 3-1 win against Chippenham Town back in January.
Another tough test now awaits the League Two outfit at The Raymond McEnhill Stadium, who will be coached on the night by Gavin Gunning.
Swindon last lifted the trophy back in the 2009-10 campaign under Danny Wilson, but did not take part in the competition for almost a decade shortly after.
The hosts, who are currently 13th in the Southern League Premier South, breezed into the semis with a dominant 5-1 victory over Highworth Town.
Salisbury come into the cup tie off the back of a 2-0 home defeat to Hayes & Yeading United and have only won twice since they turned over Highworth back in February.
With not much to play for in their league campaign, Salisbury and manager Brian Dutton are expected to field a fairly strong side for Tuesday’s fixture.
Six of the side's starting line-up in the Premier Shield quarters also started in their recent league defeat to Hayes & Yeading.
For the visitors, similarly to their victory against the Bluebirds, they are expected to give minutes to a mixture of first-team fringe players and academy youngsters.
After his brace in the previous round, out-of-favour forward Adeloye will be hoping to stake his claim for a place in the first team with another impressive performance tonight.
After being recalled from his loan at Aldershot Town earlier this month, winger Morgan Roberts could also feature.
The pair last met in the in the 2019-20 season, where the League Two side emerged victorious in extra time.
