National League South side Chippenham were heavy underdogs for the tie due to sitting 78 places - and three divisions - below League One outfit Lincoln.

But Joe Hanks' sensational backheeled finish just before half-time provided the magical moment Gary Horgan's men required to book a second-round spot for the first time in the club's history.

The Bluebirds rode their luck at times with the Imps hitting the bar and also seeing a goal controversially ruled out late on.

But it was to be Chippenham's day, and the club can look forward to Monday night's second-round draw. Chippenham will be ball number 16 when the draw is made live on BBC Two from 7pm.
