SWINDON Supermarine have bolstered their midfield options after announcing the signing of George Miller.
The 26-year-old has previously featured for Preston North End, Accrington Stanley and most recently Frome Town.
Miller will now battle it out with the likes of Joe Shepherd, Sam Morris and Bradley Hooper for a starting berth in Lee Spalding’s side.
“I’m really pleased to have George Miller join Supermarine next season,” said Spalding.
“He is a player who has good quality on the ball, he’s got great energy and an eye for a goal from midfield.
“He has experience at playing in the Southern Premier with Frome Town for the past few seasons, with the quality he possesses it makes him another exciting signing for the upcoming season.”
So far Marine have made a number of additions to their first team, as well as retaining the majority of their promotion-winning side.
However, Spalding revealed his transfer business nearing completion, with one player’s future to sort.
“I think that is it for midfielders and everything else,” he added.
“I am still speaking to one more player regarding his commitments for the upcoming season and then that will be the playing squad complete.”
