WE all love our pets and think they - but who really has the best animal companion in Swindon?
As we celebrate National Pet Month, the Adver is calling on owners of dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs, parrots, tortoises, or anything a little more unusual, to send us your favourite photos of them.
The Swindon Advertiser Perfect Pet 2022 competition comes with a top prize of a £50 voucher and all-important bragging rights for the winner.
Swindon Advertiser editor Daniel Chipperfield is keen to see as many fine and furry friends as possible.
“The companionship between humans and their pets is sacred, with our animals often bringing the emotional support we all need in our lives,” he said.
“They can be naughty, lazy, plain daft or just downright expensive – but we wouldn’t change them for the world.
“Now’s the time to fully celebrate that fact by getting your pet just that little bit of fame. And who knows, they may even earn their keep for once with our prize!”
The closing date for entries is Sunday April 17. All entries will be printed in the Adver on Wednesday April 20.
Readers will then be invited to vote for their favourite to win and we will announced the winner at a later date.
Who will be the top dog? Or cat? Or, perhaps, budgie? We'll have to wait and see...
NOTE: Due to high submission levels we cant accept anymore pet pictures.
