STEVE Nibbs resorts to outright fantasy in defending Israel’s bombing of women and children in Gaza against Axmed Bahjad.

Steve says all those quoted by Axmed are anti Jewish. Ridiculous.

Steve Nibbs repeats the Zionist insult that being Jewish equals being a Zionist.

Actually many Jews oppose Zionism and even some that do not are dismayed by the militarism of the current Zionist leadership.

Then Steve makes the even more ridiculous claim that Hamas controls our news media.

He says Hamas wants to destroy Israel.

But Hamas has joined a unity Government which recognises Israel’s right to exist.

They do still oppose Israel’s right to exist but long ago recognised it as a de facto reality.

Now their central demand is the lifting of Israel’s illegal occupation and siege of Gaza.

The US and EU’s continuing arming and bankrolling of Israel, the world’s fourth military state, means those who believe in justice should stand up and be counted. The murder is not in our name.

By the way I don’t recall Steve Nibbs doing anything to oppose the US and UK interventions in the Middle East which smashed it up leaving the chaos we now witness.

Recall too, only recently Mr Cameron came close to military support of what Steve Nibbs calls “the Islamist slaughter in Syria”.
