I HAVE read letters in the Swindon Advertiser regarding the current situation vis a vis Israel and Hamas.

Most contributions come down heavily against Israel, many complaining the state of Israel was brought about by sleight of hand, in other words illegally.

I may be a little naïve to suggest the following but could we not revisit the agreement that set up the state of Israel and reassess its validity?

If it is found that Israel is an illegal state, then the Jews will once again become a nomadic people, relying on different countries to protect them.

If this situation develops then Mr and Mrs Meek, of Cloche Way, Swindon will offer to house a modest Jewish family in their modest three bed semi.
