Together in disaster
TO BE fair to the Russians, they have never forgotten the debt of gratitude they owe to the veterans of the Arctic convoys, some of whom have featured in recent newspaper reports.
Equally heroic are the teams of rescue workers from around the world who are risking their own lives in Nepal endeavouring to rescue victims of probably the worst natural disaster in living memory.
I salute them all.
How sad that it takes a major disaster to bring the people of the world together in total harmony.
