IN ENGLAND the pro EU parties, namely Labour and the Lib Dems, did very badly in the General Election, while the parties that were more sceptical of the EU, such as the Conservatives and UKIP, actually increased their share of the vote.
UKIP got 4 million votes in the General Election and this is a very good omen for those people looking forward to the EU referendum that David Cameron has promised will take place in 2017.
