YOU very kindly printed one of my letters calling for equal access to the media by all the larger (ie more than 300 candidates) parties.

You published one from R J Harrison effectively calling all the current political parties a bunch of liars, full of spin and hot air, but no substance. I take issue with the word all.' The Lib Dems, Labour and Conservative maybe, but not all.' Parties like UKIP or Green have fought long, hard battles in the European Parliament and have yet to be caught out in a lie. I doubt they ever will be because they are not professional politicians and lawyers but ordinary people who have had enough, and want to do something about it. People like R J Harrison and myself.

Britain does not need yet another political party splitting an already small share of the vote into even smaller parts.

It needs TV and national press to follow the lead of the Advertiser by giving equal access to all, and also to stop pandering to the big three'.

It also needs the ordinary voter, you, to stop automatically voting the same way at every election but instead do some homework. Find out what each has to offer and make an informed choice, from the facts, not the spin.

The result might surprise you. It did this ex-Tory voter when I discovered UKIP.
