HAVING been town and city dwellers, my wife and I now live in the beautiful village of Broad Blunsdon.
And what a difference, after 75 years we have now found the perfect place to spend our autumn years, amongst happy and friendly people.
The village shop, the doctors, the refuse collectors, bus drivers, postman, milkman and window cleaner, are all real human beings.
Oh what joy, to wake to the morning chorus of the birds, the sound of bees humming, sheep baaing, cows mooing. If this is not Utopia, I don't know what is.
Oh yes, it's so good to be in England now that spring is here and to be happy and free, living on the fat-of-the-land.
Free bus passes mean we can now travel the length and breadth of our wonderful county, Wiltshire.
European or Continental holidays no way.
What could be better than a sunny day at Coate Water, Lydiard Park, or the Town Gardens, or a stroll around Avebury or a visit to any of the wonderful attractions of Wiltshire county?
