NOT another full report from a pensioner (Mr Bird) about the free passes.
Why do they wait at bus stops long before 9.30, knowing they can't use their bus passes until then?
A few weeks ago I had an appointment at the GWH for 9.30, so I paid nearly £3 for fares, never mind I remarked to my husband, at least it will be free coming back.
Our parents never had any perks like this, money was short then, myself I never went on a bus until I was 15 years old I walked every where. There is a saying you should be thankful for small mercies.
Talking to elderly people like myself, they remark in the Adver don't people moan these days, it wasn't like that when we were children.
Does half hour really make that difference.
