FURTHER to my letter (Swindon Advertiser, May 3) regarding the pointless, penny pinching, removal of two dog litter bins from the Millennium Green Park field in Upper Stratton. My letter highlighted the subsequent and wholly irresponsible practice of a number of responsible dog owners who firstly, act properly by picking up their animal’s mess, but then dump the resultant packet, by hanging it on the bin posts that the council failed to remove with the bins, instead of walking a few yards further to one of the six remaining bins. The matter has been brought to the attention of the authority, without any positive response. So the question now has to be asked: how big does this obscenely disgusting and serious mess need to get before someone really has to do something about it or, are we to wait, for what must now surely be a very short time, before Stratton's own obligatory band of brainless, 'we had nothing to do' morons, decide to remove the mess themselves and scatter and daub it on the seats, gates and statues, just as they did before, with that what was actually in the bins?
