AND so it’s happened! The “Yellow Peril” as the Tories call the Lib/Dems have gone into a coalition with the “nutters”, the endearing name Nick Clegg calls the Tories.
Benjamin Disraeli a political hero of David Cameron called a Conservative Government a disorganized hypocrisy the coalition will emphasize Disraeli’s words.
I agree the Tories had good reason to accept coalition after David Cameron’s poor performance in the election as he had no hope of governing as leader of a minority government he can now throw out his manifesto the cause of his troubles and save us from that pathetic “Big Society” he was going to create. (I paid £5 for that).
Cameron gave the Lib/Dems almost everything they asked for to obtain his cherished dream “The Premiership” he knew a Labour-Lib/Deb coalition where Clegg was offered a change in the voting system without a referendum he would have lost it forever.
Of course the Lib/Dems will not get their voting change even if they get a referendum, the Tories will campaign for a no vote and Labour voters will have no wish to accommodate them. Labour won the three previous elections with first past the post, why change?
