ONCE again we are subjected to the ravings of M J Warner (SA, May 20, 2010).

His support for a discredited Labour government is fast becoming something of a music hall joke although those who have to suffer as a result do not find it at all funny.

He talks about David Cameron’s poor showing in the recent General Election. That in itself is a laugh when compared with the disastrous result obtained by his beloved Labour Party. We do not need a history lesson from Mr Warner about what Disraeli did or did not say. What we do not need is someone to save us from the threat of bankruptcy brought about by his demigod Gordon Brown.

Of course the present position of having a Con Lib partnership is not entirely ideal but it is the only one which we have if want to pull out of the financial mess which the outgoing Labour government got us into.

Gordon Brown under the banner of prudence spent money as if it came from a bottomless purse and we all now know that it was money which he did not have. Hence the terrible debt which we now all have to endure.

Mr Warner in his latest letter has once again proved that he is a very bad loser and I would suggest with tongue in cheek that he takes at least a six month sabbatical before he again subjects us to more of his left wing dribble.
