DAVID Cameron has dropped the Home Information Pack, the so called HIPS, as a part of selling a home but when they were introduced, under Tony Blair's administration, he (Mr Blair) admitted that they were an EU requirement. UKIP have always claimed that the EU runs Britain, the Tories that we can be in Europe, not run by Europe.
If Mr Cameron can get the HIPS dropped, as he wants, without EU interference, I will be most surprised but if he can't then it will be conclusive proof that the Tory way over the EU will not work. If he can then it shows UKIP to have been wrong.
It promises to be an interesting "test case".
