I WOULD be very grateful if, through your letters page, I can thank all those who voted for Labour in Parks in the local elections on May 6.
I am delighted to have been elected as a Councillor and I am deeply proud to serve the people of the Parks.
I am looking forward to working with my fellow Labour Councillors for Parks, Steve Allsopp and Fay Howard; as well as all those that care about Parks. We will make sure the Parks Labour team work hard to serve all of the people of Parks.
I pledge to keep in touch with Parks residents all year round, with our now familiar Parks Matters newsletter.
The Parks priorities are my priorities - tackling anti social behaviour, cutting crime, more facilities for the young, repairing our roads, and a clear vision for the future of Swindon.
I hope together we can be proud of Parks; and street by street we can achieve the improvements that will be so important to the community.
