AS a party of nine adults and five children we travelled to Wembley with the away supporters coaches. Our trip to the stadium was exemplary and we arrived very excited and in good spirits and were all impressed with the beautiful new Wembley. But where on earth was the atmosphere which should have been a part of it?
Where we were sat hardly anyone joined in the singing or chanting. Two men just in front of us tried their hardest to get everyone involved vocally but apart from a handful of supporters nothing - you could hear the palpable silence.
I was and still am very disappointed with the total lack of voluble support which our lads whether playing well or not, deserve. All I can say is come on you reds and roll on next season.
